Later she became identified in Rome with the Greek goddess, Demeter. In modern astrology, she stands for the cyclical structure of the natural world and the rhythms of womanhood and fertility, parenting and reproduction, a protector of children and the environment. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28104021 It is my thread, and I will update and edit it the way I want. Make your own thread on Dwarf Planet Ceres. I thought it was "Brown Dwarf Ceres", like your thread originally stated? I was still editing the thread, and I had put Brown in by mistake. It is Dwarf Planet Ceres. However, it is a dwarf planet. When you have your own thread, you are allowed to edit it...try it, why don't you? |

Balloons User ID: 33781432 ![]() 01/13/2014 09:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As I have been reading about the Dwarf Planet Ceres, our Earth twin...basically...I have been very surprised we have not been taught or heard more about Ceres. I came across the above video on You Tube and started researching Ceres...found out Ceres is a big deal! Yes, science is very excited about this dwarf planet, calling it a "game changer" and a "one of a kind." Dwarf Planet Ceres is a unique body in the solar system considered to be a potential source for extraterrestrial life! Ceres is the first of the smaller planets to be discovered and closest to Earth. Ceres, named after the Roman Goddess of Agriculture, orbits the sun in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, approximately 258 million miles from Earth. Scientists are extremely excited about Cere's chemistry, thermal activity, heat source, and prospect for conviction within the ice shell. In other words, Planet Ceres is just like Earth! I believe there is a conspiracy to keep information quiet on Ceres, because scientists know Ceres is harboring extraterrestrial life. They simply do not want US TO KNOW ABOUT PLANET CERES! ![]() Please hold still so I can cut your hair long |

Less than three times as far as Earth from the sun, Ceres is close enough to feel the warmth of the star, allowing ice to melt and reform. OK |
Drunk Uncle User ID: 49155171 ![]() 01/13/2014 09:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why isn't it a planet like the rest in our solar system? It is ...they started out by calling it an asteroid, then labeled it as a planet. So it is considered to be a planet now. So when are they going to change the number of planets in our solar system to 10 or 9 or pluto or whatever...? |

OK what in the world? okay so whomever castillo-rogez is, that's is so out of context. it's just saying that ceres is an icy body that is closest to the sun, compared to all the other icy bodies. which btw may or may not be true as everything hasn't been discovered yet but less than three times as far as earth? where did you pull that out? you must realize that ceres is beyond mars right? it's between the jupiter and mars orbit otherwise known as the asteroid belt |
