Been quite a few years since college but my roommates used to make me cook my version of sloppy joes

1lb of burger
1 can pork n beans
1 onion
ketchup
mustard
little shot of maple syrup
little sweet pickle relish

after the meat was brown, dump the rest in a skillet until it simmers a little while

serve open face on a piece of bread

might not sound the best but tastes really good. The beans make a pound of burger go a lot farther and fed 3 starving college student


another roomy of mine used to make grilled cheese with a spoonful of salsa in the middle. They were excellent especially when we were baked ourselves
