Some cheap and easy deserts (mostly for kids)
Ice pops
Dissolve a packet of favoured gelatin or a few squares of jelly with some milk in a pot. Adjust to taste. Once it dissolves, pour it into ice pop molds or plastic cups with spoons in them. Freeze.
Fruit kebabs
Thread any fruit, fresh or canned, onto skewers and sprinkle them with cinnamon or all spice. Grill until they are hot but not browned. Serve with ice cream.
Apple pie
Heat some stewed apple or apple sauce. Slice a croissant open and toast it. Pour the apple into the croissant and top with fresh or iced cream.
Chocolate pears
Heat a tin of canned pears in the juice of the can in a pot or microwave. When hot, drain the juice off and place small pieces of chocolate on top to melt. Heat it a little more if the chocolate isn't soft.
Biscuit cake
Crumble a packet of plain biscuits/cookies. Melt the equivalent in chocolate. Combine the two and putin the fridge for for 3-4 hours. Cut into slices.
Frozen fruit
Roll fruit in sugar and freeze. Serve with yogurt.
