I couldn't read it to the end, I got really disgusted by the OP. I knew a girl who jumped out of her window because she broke up with her boyfriend. Is it normal? Is it good? NO!!!!
Religion teaches that no matter what happens you must be strong and live through the difficulties. ´People commit suicide nowadays because of stupid things. Suicide rates are too high. And I'm not even talking what the loved ones feel while losing a dear person.
Psychiatry is the most evil institution on Earth. You are sad? You are ill, let's call this illness depression. Oh you want to kill yourself? Here, have these pills, they make you more suicidal.
And this is how our medical institutions HELP suicidal people? Yeah, go on with your story how TPTB discourages suicide.
I feel sorry for the doctors who became doctors to help humans and put years to learn how to do it, now they have to murder people instead.
Frankly, I admire people who are able to overcome their base instinct of self-preservation. It takes amazing courage and strength to pack it in, no matter the catalyst for such an extreme decision.
Wouldn't it take MORE courage and strength to deal with the problem rather than giving up?
Who are you, as a random stranger, to decide how much courage and strength someone has to have, or whether it takes more courage and strength to live or die or whether courage and strength are even characteristics that a soul must embody?
Who is anyone to tell another sentient soul that they have to or even should keep trudging through and existence that is nothing but pain and torture to them?
Who is society to tell people they are better off medicated and poisoned and zombified as cogs in a machine that they despise than dead?
Who are doctors and lawmakers and politicians to tell people that they must keep breathing, that convicted criminals are deserving of a better, cleaner death?
Who are you to tell your family member or friend that they should have to live a life of physical/emotional pain to spare YOU the emotional pain of their death?
What makes choosing to suffer a life you hate morally superior to choosing a painless, quick death?
What answers can you give that don't center around your religious beliefs or your idea that YOU should be spared the pain of someone's demise while THEY live a life of suffering???
I stand by my convictions - I don't think ANY soul should have to continue living a life they don't want to live. I think the constructs of our society exist to keep people in fear of death, in fear of eternal punishment, so that they will remain good, scared little worker/slaves to their government/religious masters.
Prove me wrong.
