Which is why I think people should be legally allowed to choose death at any point in their existence - not just when they are terminal.
Who is anyone to tell another sentient human being that they should have to remain alive if they don't wish to do so?
Why are human beings deprived of the legal ability to choose to end this journey at their own personal whim, with speed and without pain, when the tools for a speedy, painless exit are readily and easily available?
Do you think the government wants you to remain alive so your soul can evolve or so that you can pay your taxes for the next few decades?
Do you think your religion of choice is going to profit quite as much if its members are actively choosing to go onto a better place?
