Anybody been sick but me? I've NEVER been this sick in my life....

Damn, Ya'll....

This morning about 2am I awoke with a coughing spell that was so intense I began throwing up and could not stop for over an hour. I was waiting for my toenails to come up because I had tossed everything else!!

Well, duh! Look at how many people got the flu shot and got sick. This ain't rocket science, people. I have not been sick at all in years and I don't get that damn shot.

I never get sick because I never get the flu shot but I do hope you get to feeling better soon.
Drink lots of quality orange juice and take lots of zinc tablets.

You need raw garlic now!!! Take at least three cloves three times a day. Chop it and let it sit for 7 minutes to allow the allicin to come alive and then swallow as you would a pill.

I came down with this crap that's going around, bronchial pneumonia AND a rather nasty influenza wrapped all in one big nasty-assed sickness.

This crap has nearly killed me, I've missed more than 6 days of work, was in the hospital for a day, been to 3 specialists and gotten more tests done than I can count and have had to spend more money on freaking antibiotics and other crap than I've used in my entire life!!

Thanks to Obammy Care, my Co-Pay went up by 30%. Fucker.

So far this same shit has killed 24 people in my hometown alone. I feel HORRIBLE.

While I have had the flu, pneumonia and other stuff like it when I was a kid, I'm 55 years old and this crap has brought me to my knees.

I tried going back to work because people need my help (I"m an IT Professional) but I can't make it more than a day or two and I'm right back on my back, sick as ever.

Fortunately the folks I work for have been very understanding since there are about 20 people at the office out with the same crap right now and even my GM had it a few weeks ago.

The thing is I went and got my flu shot, the pneumonia shot and all my allergy shots and I still came down with this crap.

Right now I'm coughing up large amounts of green and red crap that looks like it could get up and walk off on it's own!! I was starting to give them names.... that one is Fred, that one is Payne, that one is.... you get my drift.

I've lost 12 pounds in the last 2 weeks, which is good in a way as I was way too fat, but good grief!!!

My Doctor has been giving me steroids and they help me be hungry I guess but I can't taste anything, so why bother?

Now my wife has this crap and it's all my fault even though I have tried to stay away from her, and it's really hard on her as she is disabled. As if she needed something else to mess her life up with. I've been sleeping on a cot in my recording studio in the back of the house so she would not get infected and it did no good whatsoever.

My cats will not leave my side, they know I'm sick!!

Plus, I had a really creepy dream where some kind of demon thing was trying to talk me into giving up and dying so I could go with it somewhere.

More on the "demon thing": It was glowing blue and it was smallish, say the size of a 2 year old and it's hair was flying all around like a heavy wind was blowing. I recall I told it to mind it's own business and leave me alone. It did.

I'm sorry for the rant, but I had to talk to somebody!!

Anybody else dealing with this stuff?

People stop taking the damn shots! That dream is pretty creepy but could be nothing. BEST advice get your body Alkaline I bet your body is at the toxic level especially with all the crap the docs like to dish out. Get a bunch of lemons and squeeze juice into preferably distilled water and drink it and if you can hack it put a little sea salt in there as well. Good luck

I don't get flu shots, and I did get the flu this year, It was terrible, I barely moved for 3 days. I barely ever get sick either.

So sorry to hear you are sick op - sounds like you have the nastiest kind of flu ever. I was sick like that a few years ago. I am very good at pushing through illness and working and such, but that was the first time i couldnt even parent. I was stuck on the couch, two toddlers running around needing me, and i could do nothing for them. I had no one to come help me either - i was all alone. Then one of the children was sick too, and we had to work together to keep each other clean from the crap escaping us. I learned then just what little troopers my children can be when they need to!

Right now I am sick - so sick, but not like usual. My lungs are a bit congested, my nose is a bit runny, i have a low grade fever.
But my body! Every inch of me feels like it is covered in deep bruises. There is not a joint on me that isnt aching, every centimeter of skin feels like boiling water was poured on it. I am in agony, and no relief. I have never been sick like this before. I do have fibro, so i guess that must have something to do with it. But it is not the "normal flu". All i can do is curl up and hope it doesnt kill me!
