Pine Nuts, all I see are from China!

Pine nuts are wonderful because when you toast them they taste like bacon so good on a home made pita pizza!

omg? Bitter pine mouth? This is very odd!! Why do the Chinese adulterate their food like this? Plastic rice etc...

so the deal here is don't buy short stubby pine nuts...

It's so sad isn't it? When I started this thread I didn't think there really would be a problem with these pine nuts, but there is!

I did find some on Amazon, expensive, but if you only toast a few at a time for pizza it's not too bad.

Really it is amazing how much they taste like bacon when lightly toasted in a pan.

What boggles my mind is the bags of GARLIC in the produce section of WalMart labeled from CHINA!

You mean to tell me we have to import friggin' garlic all the way from China? No one in the US is growing garlic? I grow it easily in my backyard garden.

Un-frikkin-believable. Who knows what the feck they sprayed on that garlic.
