I'm becoming ashamed of Jesus

You shouldn't be ashamed of Jesus. He's so awesome !

What in particular are you ashamed about with Jesus ?

Jesus is not all-powerful. The Father is Almighty though.

The ashamed feeling will go away with repentance and turning back to God. You do that before you can't.

You know, if those nails on that cross would have slipped out somehow and jesus had gotten loose and picked up a weapon he would have slaughtered everyone out of blind rage and agony and the bible wouldnt be nearly as inspirational, he was just a man is what people dont get.

This is so irrelevant and wrong.

Do you think Jesus wanted you to say this right here right now?

Jesus is all powerful -.- Jesus is one with the Father. Jesus is the great I AM.

before i wanted to talk about Jesus and about Gods revelation through him all the time...

now i feel so filthy i just cant talk about it or think about it...i feel like a demon,or a brood of demons...

i was beginning to love the gospel and now i love only pleasure and lies,and my state is worst than it was

You are tied to the flesh. You cannot over come that. You can only repent and ask for forgiveness when you see your flesh taking over, or did take over. Rebellious is just giving into the flesh and not caring. When you care, and are pained by your actions, then your are becoming more like Jesus, which is spot on.

You will never ever be able to stop sinning while your are here. Satan will never stop tempting you into sinning. It's not a failure to acknowledge the truth. As you grow closer to God, Satan will step up his attack on you. I heard a good analogy once.

When a duck hunter clips two ducks in one shot and falls down dead and the other just wounded which one will the hunter go after first? The wounded one, to make sure it doesn't get away.

Any Christian trying to walk the path is a wounded duck. Unbelievers are already dead so Satan's work is complete. And you will be a wounded duck until you die. Just keep trying to fly out of danger!

Jesus "is all powerful", read John 1:1-20. God is the Father and Jesus is His firstborn Son. He created all the universe seen and unseen. When on the earth Jesus was subordinate to the Father and is currently seated at His right hand. I would never be ashamed of my Creator and older brother.

I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. John 14:28

You have just got to push through the hard times. Trust Jesus always, he will take you through hard times but these will shape you how he needs you.

I too lost my passion through sin. I'm just now quitting. I just remind myself, sin lasts such a short time. But the pleasure Jesus will give us lasts eternally !

Think about every good thing Jesus does, and thank him for it. Remember every good thing that happens in your life and others. Thank him for being good. Remember all the great things he did, all his miracles.

I don't know why people don't love Jesus, he does the coolest miracles I could imagine.

Most importantly, you need to stop sinning ! Jesus can't take up your case until you stop sinning.

Jesus was the Logos/the Word which created everything and as I said in human form He claimed subordination to the Father. He is God's firstborn Son (firstfruit) of "many brothers and sisters" (in the future).

Or, think of all those in the porn pics, unless they repent, confess their sin, they will never see Heaven.

Every one of us is a "sinner". Jesus loves us and has mercy on us; he is The Lamb of God, and He bears our sin.

I think the very first step is knowing you are sinning and wanting to do something about it. It is in your heart. Talk to Jesus because He makes things new!

The Father has drawn you, but satan is tempting you. Pray for more strength and more faith. Get control back over your mind, don't let the demons take over your mind.

You can do this! I know you can!

Jesus will help you, just pray and say no to evil thinking and evil doing.

The closer we draw to the Lord, the greater Satan's attacks become. Pray for him to give you the strength to resist temptation whenever you are tempted. You have to want to resist sin and ask for the Father to help you overcome it.

The Bible does not mention that. In fact the Bible is quite subtle about the crucifixion. You are referring to the "Passion of the Christ" based on the writings of Anna Catharina von Emmerich. It's not biblical at all but based on what an Roman Catholic mystic saw.

Yes...the Bible really does "say" that - in very, very clear words:

Isa. 52: 14 and 53: 4, 5... On the second part:

Might I remind you that you said "beaten beyond recognition" but that is not what I read in these verses. He was beaten up by the Romans. That was not unusual neither was it unusual to force passers by to carry the crossbeam to the place of execution if the person who was condemned to death was unable to do so. But what Isaiah wrote does NOT mean automatically that Jesus was beaten beyond recognition. It does mean that He was beaten very hard.

A Roman execution squad knew what they could do with their victims to ensure maximum suffering.

But to come back to the OP. The fact that you worry about the fact that you are not perfect to face Jesus does mean that he knows he has sinned and that he repents his sins. So, if the Bible is correct, you can confess that in private to Jesus and you will be forgiven.
