Been a doctor for years never heard of a mat exam for med-surg or OB,
Where are you doing your residency?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 47297613 It's Medication Math.. Every semester the nursing students have to do Med Math calculations and be 100% proficient to ensure safe drug/dose calculations. I'm not sure if it's like that at all nursing schools.
