Don't you know everything in life has a ledger and the account IS NOW DUE? Are you going to kill yourself now, too? If so, then be weak. No. I am not going to kill myself. If you are not a little nervous about another Great Depression, then great. But, it is just a scary thought because things are already pretty difficult. Read the Bible ; the Book of Revelation ; to be exact they are only going to get worse You have to be strong, be very flexible and don't be materialistic you really could loose it all ; but who cares stuff is just stuff These are the end times ; if you are right with God you will come out on top ; no matter how bad it gets and it WILL get bad you have to not be a wimp but stay strong for the wimps will not survive this one |

He was a pillar of the community. I don't give a damn what anybody thinks. I just moved from a fancy house to a small one, and am saving half a mortgage payment. I don't give a damn what people think. I mean, that is smart. If everything turns out perfect and rosy, well then if NOTHING ELSE you will have saved a ton of money which you can then use for whatever you please. |

In order to lawfully owe an entity any money there must be a pre-existing contract in place, which obviously there never is. I love the Russell Indexes! T For Texas, T For Tennessee! The virtue of courage is a prerequisite for the practice of all other virtues, because otherwise one is virtuous only when virtue has no cost. Éireann User ID: 53652744 United States 01/30/2014 09:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is a god damned greek tragedy! We've got economists, bank execs (current and retired), and brokers killing themselves while the news is telling us that China's default is "avoided" and then we've got the Dictator in Chief telling us that the economy is fine? If this house of cards falls I'm screwed. I guess I'll be growing Mary Jane to manage my bi-polar and ptsd. Cuz I don't know how the hell anything will work after the collapse. Kind of a joke the "after" part of the collapse. It's been collapsing for years. Feh.. now I'm having a panic attack. DAMN IT! Eireann~ I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. - Galatians 2:20 |

Yes... that is the thing about these "suicides" (which may or may not be suicides)... a lot of these guys were involved in the type of financials that have to know the future. I see a lot of people wondering why they would "suicide" (if they even did).. well.. some of them might be held liable by their companies, the public, the government, someone. Some of them might not deserve to be in that place, but have been scapegoated by someone else since people in that area of business at a high level are good at being sneaky with numbers. Another possibility is they see what is happening to highly qualified people in other fields and feel they will fare no better. Which means working very low level jobs that in no way will even begin to pay their bills. But, they have big insurance policies so their kids will get more money from them if they are dead than if they are working for $9/hr somewhere. you take a guy use to coming in when he wants; calling the shots, being an a hole ....the big boss and then he is suppose to be reduced to getting a 9 hour job where he is treated like the rest of the slaves I think these high rollers could never stoop to that level and decide to exit before they get to it That's not the case here at all. In my opinion there are much more intelligent ways for them to accomplish the task, and since these 'suicides' are obviously intelligent, resourceful, strategic thinkers, I cannot believe that they are simply jumping out of windows. They have already been through tough times in their climb to the top, they are NOT wimps. It's preposterous to think that they couldn't come up with a better way to handle their problem. I'm nowhere nearly in their league for smarts and even I could have figured out a way to fake my death so my family could at least have my insurance money, ffs. Alternatively, they could google a country that has no extradition to the US, make a few trips to the area to sock away some cash, buy a small resort with a bar and restaurant, move your family there, and act like that and a hammock was your goal all along. So freakin' easy. These guys are getting waxed, pure and simple. Last Edited by Windsage on 01/30/2014 09:39 PM |

Quoting: Lionman13 What puzzles me is all these wealthy guys must have multi-million dollar life insurance policies. Their wife and kids get nothing if they commit suicide. I always wondered about that. (At least I'm assuming that life insurance polices don't pay if suicide is committed.) It depends on the state and then if they do pay they will only pay if there isn't any proof that the policy holder was suicidal when he took out the policy. Some may also have time period until it will be covered. All states are different. |
