i'm hoping it is because of scary financial news only because the news has been boring lately and I miss the exciting feeling you get when you are watching a TV show and all of the sudden BREAKING NEWS and "We interupt this report for some breaking news..." comes in with some actual devatating news.

Nowadays I guess the equivelant is seeing BREAKING NEWS on a big site like yahoo or at the top of GLP. Still, you dont get that tingly feeling quite like when your watching Steve Harvey conduct the good times on Family Fued and all of the sudden he gets cut off mid joke for, "We interrupt this program to bring you a special report.."

Additionally, how many times do we have to put up with that obnoxious white noise alert signal while they "Conduct a test of the national broadcasting system"? Is one of those fuckers ever gonna be real???
