If the US never had nukes I think they would probably have been invaded decades ago. In fact I think the whole global landscape would be a lot different without America's might and leverage on the world stage. So I don't necessarily think nukes are all bad...probably the lesser of two evils. Especially if used as a deterrent. After all...isn't that why you like your guns so much?
