Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48970285 What it did was kill off all the people who didn't have this mutation. After the plague the survivors then went on to hook up and have kids. Thus the next generation had the mutation. And so on and so forth. |

Fine Feathered Fellows User ID: 22653279 ![]() 02/04/2014 08:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Laugh if you want but a Psychic told me this several months ago. That my family being a survivor of the 14th Century plagues caused DNA mutations. I doubt this research was available when she told me. I have it written down in the transcript of read. It prevents me from getting some diseases in this time. Natural vaccine built in. I don't get sick either much. Have not had a true cold or the flu in over a decade. I get allergies but NO virus that involves the lungs or nasal passages has affected me for longer than I can remember. "It is in the blood." Lady Bird Vincent |

They still don't know why the plague stopped. Not everyone living today has immunity. Some research has suggested those who are immune to the plague also are immune to AIDS.
