not buying it...killing the host does not pass on DNA...now getting the illness and surviving, that passes on in some cases.

What it did was kill off all the people who didn't have this mutation. After the plague the survivors then went on to hook up and have kids. Thus the next generation had the mutation. And so on and so forth.

Laugh if you want but a Psychic told me this several months ago. That my family being a survivor of the 14th Century plagues caused DNA mutations. I doubt this research was available when she told me. I have it written down in the transcript of read. It prevents me from getting some diseases in this time. Natural vaccine built in. I don't get sick either much. Have not had a true cold or the flu in over a decade. Some people were immune to the plague. The immunity didn't develop during the plague. They still don't know why the plague stopped. Not everyone living today has immunity. Some research has suggested those who are immune to the plague also are immune to AIDS.
