That was a rather shocking statement and unless she is lurking in their closets, how would she really know what is going on behind closed doors.

I think that Mia had adopted the daughter. I think we should investigate facts before making too much of his marriage to the daughter. It seems to me that Woody and Mia were not married or even living together and that it was Mia's stepdaughter.

I am not defending--I honestly don't know facts. But, I do think this is one of those situations that the facts have been glossed over and they might make a difference.

If Woody and Mia were not living together and if they were not married--then if he married Mia's daughter--it is still strange--but not as immoral as it seems on the surface.

Let's face it; we are making our opinions with the idea that he was living with the step daughter and mother, etc,

I think we need facts and then we can throw stones or we can give a little more of a break. I honesty don't know about the facts.

Again, it was a step daughter. And I think (need to check facts) that Mia adopted the daughter and Woody was not married to Mia and not even living in the same house with her.

It is still strange--but, I think there was more to the story than the way it sounds on the surface. I need to check facts.

I had a friend who was abused. She was adopted by people who take in mentally challenged children and were paid by the govt.

When she was around 14 she started to change. Lost a lot of weight, started taking drugs. Hated going home and she told us her father was coming in late at night and having sex with her.

It was totally plausible because she had a bedroom off from the house on the property. She was exceptionally attractive too.

Anyway she got heavily into drugs. Nobody believed her except us. She started sleeping with guys for drugs. Ended up having a baby who her parents got custody of. She is probably dead by now due to the drug use. That child is probably sexually abused too.

On the outside the parents look like great people. Becoming parents to mentally disabled children, raising them as their own. To me those are the ones with red flags.
