OP, this is something that I'm hearing being repeated so much: To repent.

When was the last time you heard church leaders say this?
Jesus said it and we must always examine ourselves and ask forgiveness...to try to repent.

I am not a Joel Osteen fan and saw repeated commercials promoting his new book. Out of curiosity I went to Amazon and decided to read the book reviews. The majority of the reviews stated that this new book was just recycled stories and that there were many who said the book was a waste of money. Some even stated that the facts of the stories changed...the man is laughing all the way to the bank.

We live in perilous times...the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ is indeed at hand. The world grows darker with each passing day. I pray that I may be counted worthy to escape the time of trial that is to come upon the earth - Jesus instructed us to pray that prayer. We are seeing more rebellion and cherry-picking of the bible. There is much deception and it continues to increase.

On this thread I saw a later post, describing a bible code that says 2021 is the year. The danger always is believing you have some time before the Lord comes. I believe he could come at any time now. It's going to be sudden, and it's going to be without warning.
