Well that took them a while to figure out that a 90 day trail period wasn't enough to prove GMO safety for everyone, everywhere, for years and years, for the whole eco system and earth.

One thing that annoys me is that all GM foods are branded the same.

I oppose any form of GM that makes a plant glyphosphate ready or even now ddt ready.

I do not oppose things like golden rice that adds a beta carotene gene to it to stop vitamin A deficiencies in developing countries and could save over half a million children's lives every year.

A greater understanding is needed of the different types of modifications being done as a blanket ban on all is just wrong but some, like splicing herbicides into plants really need to be tested thoroughly before they can be allowed into the food chain.

More science that is not done by monsanto and we could all feel a bit safer on this one I reckon.

It is too late I think!
