I think that it's pretty cool that new theories are being developed, but I have a feeling that if Einstein had been exposed to today's scientific technology and knowledge, he may have had different ideas about relativity and physics. A lot of ground has been covered since his time... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23980933 Einstein only had a 142 IQ. Sure it's genius level but not that far above average for a Caucasian. He himself claimed to get his ideas from dreams, NOT pondering. It's highly annoying when the masses continually use 'Einstein's IQ' as the example of extraordinary when it was merely average. he has the power of the Juice press behind him. IQ tests measure memory, the assumption is you have been exposed to the info. An eidetic memory gets you off the chart. Your ability to problem solve is a different matter. As for Albert the rumors I heard was his wife was the brains. And yes, he plagiarized. THIS. There are so many people with great memories that work in great management jobs. But they aren't really all that smart. They always tell us that they think. They claim we don't think. Yes, they think. But they don't think in ways that come to correct conclusions. They are always wrong. But they have great memories. And they like to ridicule people who have bad memories. I'm smarter than most people who have great memories. |

Anybody can be a genius, you have to develop the ability to tap in to the infinite consciousness, where a vast amount of knowledge exists, you can literally download knowledge from the aether. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36281878 The universe is a paradox. The universe is not as complex as most people think. Consciousness is very important to understanding how the universe works. Consciousness gives rise to everything. and what do you do that's so special besides delivering pizza? Its crazy how people that have accomplished being tattooed and pierced and little else degenerate others, just astounding! "denigrate". |

Phillip J. Fry User ID: 49911340 United States 06/21/2014 09:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Dirtyboy, for seven years I was in charge of marketing my aerospace company's science and technology to govt agencies. Quoting: darth 47336017 I had the opportunity to work with hundreds of our top scientists and engineers. In my experience, there IS a correlation between high IQ and mental illness. Although we had a number of perfectly normal, nice scientists, we also had some absolutely looney ones. One of my most creative friends has a number of patents in a wide range of fields. Feed him a few beers and he will start explaining how there are not two genders of human, but at least sixteen. He also fervently believed everything the ancient religions baked into a clay tablet. On one occasion, the Division GM called me into his office, "I want you to attend this technical symposium and keep these two scientists from physically attacking each other". So I was the bouncer for the meeting. The two had been feuding for years over who got undue credit for a scientific paper. On separate occasions, they each tried to run over their opponent in the company parking lot. It was a fun gig. What I really want to know is: did our cloaking device work in the field? I took the inventor to a number of govt agencies until one day I was disinvited. The program went black and to this day I have no idea if we can make spacecraft disappear at will. I hope it worked! I guess we will find out when they run "Project Bluebeam". . "Don't do anything that affects anything. Unless it turns out you were supposed to do it, in which case for the love of God. Don't not do it!" |

Some can inventory an entire store in their head. Some can handle complicated mathematics faster than computers. Some have unbelievable abilities to memorize certain things. There are employment opportunities for these people now because people are realizing how useful some are though they might have other difficulties. Quoting: Dirtyboy My son's memory is so amazing. He was able to repeat entire conversations when he was 3 years old. He can do amazing things with his memory for music. He could work a job, but he gets upset really easy and threatens to do bad things to other people. It's mostly just talk, but if you don't tell him to knock it off, he just keeps going. It's because he needs a Geodon. He isn't sleeping right at this point in time. Christard and Lover of God |

[link to www.phys.unsw.edu.au] I haven't read it, so I cannot explain, or hope to comment in an intelligent fashion. I think I need to look further... I see Einstien's cosmological constant for a static Universe, as opposed to an expanding one...but, really, all of these equations are out of my league. An IQ test measures how much a cup can hold, not how much is in the cup. Anonymous Coward User ID: 37574345 United States 06/22/2014 12:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Einstein (and everybody else) owes quite a bit to James Clerk Maxwell and Hermann Minkowski. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 59429269 They bastardized a fair amount of Maxwell's work though, because they couldn't deal with quaternions. Quarternions (as I understand them - and I don't) were the conerstone of Maxwells ^actual^ theory. But. His theory was too radical for the times. That is why they got rid of the quarternions and not because they were any more difficult to use. Maxwells math was simple compared with what mathematicians commonly do today. |

Everything Newton has had attributed to him was stolen from other researchers. Kepler, Huygens, and others. He was the Golden Boy, the Crony, the Ass-Licker of the King, and Church during that time period. He had zero research in his personal files, nothing more than Alchemical crap that amounted to nothing. Nothing showing the step by step attributes associated with any real research. Newton = Complete FRAUD - Of course we are all taught in the Brain-Washing Public Schools that he made "Great Discoveries"? He was a Political Crony, that's all... Similarly is Tesla, one of the greatest men that most people have never heard of. Yet he invented so many things that we all use this very day. |
