I guess you did not know that unemployment statistics only count people receiving a unemployment check. Democrats as well as Republican politicians love to use that deceptive unemployment reporting statistic method to propagandize to their constituents that everything is fine on the economic front.
Simple as this: You receive a unemployment check you are counted as being unemployed. After the check stops you're not counted as being unemployed.
