It's so cold, even polar bears and penguins were being kept indoors Monday. That's not a joke, it's true..All over the United States is in a deep freeze, and major winter storms like never seen. Most Meteorologist agree that we are seeing a winter we have never recorded. Some are trying to predict warmer highs just to make people feel warmer, but it's not! Never in my 64 years have I ever seen or felt a winter this cold, and seen the problems it is causing. Propane is being rationed in places it was easy to get before. Pipes as far south as Mobile Alabama bursting, as homes in the deep south were not built for such cold like the nation is experiencing this winter. Some are saying winter may go deep into April, and some places in the north will still be in sub-freezing temps as long as May. All we can do is wish for a very early spring, and warmer temps from here.

Windchill here is -3F, my house was built in the early 1900's so whatever insulation was there is now gone or not working. I have single pane windows and STILL never turn my heat above 64. My heat/gas bill is about $100 a month. You people need to suck it the fuck up and stop crying. You don't need it set at 80, put on some sweat pants and a hoodie and cuddle the fuck up.

The storms may be hitting further south but they aren't anymore severe. I remember snow storms in the 70's and 80's that totally trump anything we've had in the last 15 years. I remember 5 feet snow drifts. Even the last 3 polar vortexes were disappointing only dropping about 6 inches on average.
