Batshit CRAZY Critters!

No one wants to share?

That's a real cute kitty. I like him. I have crazy critters too, but I don't have any pictures of them doing crazy stuff.

I have a bunny who chews through electrical cords in a snap. They are her favorite thing in the whole world. She's expensive sometimes. I have a bossy queen cat who weighs 5 lbs and rules the whole household. She's a mafia kingpin. Then there's her lover, our original cat who is a neutered male. They get jiggy with it in the hallway all the time and he literally wipes the floor with her. For some reason they always go to humping when you get on the treadmill. They love that, but I don't know why. I have a sweet little cat who's so soft and loves the bb's from my son's airsoft guns. She will chase those bb's all over the house. She likes to get them in her mouth and then "talk" around them. She's the sweetest thing.

Then there's the dog who is cute, extremely fast and agile and very spoiled. She eats human food and won't touch her dog food very much. She's my baby girl. Life isn't always easy being a dog. You get bored a lot and lonely. She isn't enjoying this cold weather very much.

Thanks bunches! I had a rabbit once that chewed through the internal wires on my computer because I wasn't thinking and left the cover off. She also chewed through our Playstation control cord. They just love them cords! Love the story about your cats getting jiggy with it!

Speaking of batshit crazy - Funny story about the fat red one, Zep, that I just remembered and am almost too embarrassed to share. My last cat of the clan, Buddy, was a stray that we brought in when he was about 10 months old or so.

Zep was always pretty chunky. A couple of times (like I said I am really embarrassed to even admit this), we caught Buddy (a male) nursing on Zep (a male). Not sure if there was ever any milk exchanged.

Thank God, that phase only lasted a couple of months. Now Zep just lets off these crazy Kung Fu warrior cries and jumps Buddy kicking his ass. We never have figured out what brings this on. Maybe Buddy is talking shit on him?

Fun thread! I'll have to upload some pics of my kitties for you. Are dogs allowed, even if not crazy? Here's one of a dog I used to own, a Giant Malamute. We have farm animals and I learned after the fact that this breed has a high prey drive (he wanted to chomp down on our mini goat). I worked with the mal rescue to find him a home and they were quite surprised he didn't want to eat my indoor cats. He was great with them. He got a good home with a judge friend who had a part mal and all have lived happily to this day. But I cried when he left.



I have a black male persian "Uno" who gets revved up and makes this wild growling motor noise when he is running around the house playing, just like someone wound him up.

Sounds like my house... Filled with furry critters! I also have 2 guinea pigs who r super cute and start squealing every time u open the fridge bc they love their organic spring mix! It's like crack to them.

Beautiful dog! I love big dogs too! So sorry that you had to let him go. My sad doggy story is from when I was a kid. We had a long-haired german shepard that was the greatest dog ever. He killed the neighbor's hunting dog over our trash and so we had to put him down. He was real possessive of it and after he killed the dog he kept picking it up by the neck and throwing it around. I didn't get to say goodbye before they put him down or anything.

Too funny. Would love to see their reactions. You should record it sometime.

Actually it is! It is a really, really, really old power strip for computers that I now use to raise my monitor to a better height for reading on top of also using a really, really, really old phone book!

Baby was about 6 weeks old when I found him trying to get into a restaurant and the hostess was crying because she could not let him in. I took him home, bathed him, and fed him ..... which I have been doing for 16 years now. Baby had a bout with hyperthyroidism, underwent surgery and has had a session of stem cell therapies. His Kidneys are good now and he is eating well. His specialist is Dr. Larry Snyder DVM in Topeka.

Tom was ragged and beaten down when he came to the door. He made up his mind to live here and stayed in the garage for a Winter. I made him an apartment with a heated bed. He had food and water but also still his manhood. I promised him, he could come in if he would give up his ... you know what. One day Tom disappeared and three days came home with a huge gash in his head and could not stand. We took him to the Vet and had surgery on both ends. Tom came in. He watch the others and was using the box in a day. He found out you could sleep on the furniture and if he went to the kitchen and howled a little, someone would feed him. You couldn't make him leave now.

Missy came when her mommy and daddy broke up. It took 3 months under the bed until she came out. Now she tells everyone else what to do.

Dusky, the tiger stripe, is the most sensitive one in the bunch. If you raise your voice he will cry. He also thinks every minute is a snack min. He came, on Christmas Eve 10 years ago as a kitten, in a box, with a ph. call that told me to go look on the driveway. We had put up flyers that day, looking for Justin who was tired of all the cats in the house, and ran away (we found him later) but our ph. no. address, and tel no. were on the flyers.

Evan is the neurotic one. He was just about dead when I found him. He is the one that needs a diaper because he is so afraid someone will take his things that he marks everything. He has a denim diaper that is quite fashionable that he must wear when no one can see him. At night or when we are gone for a while in the day. He doesn't like it but he tolerates it.

I could tell you stories of animals from my whole life and I must agree with Anatole France who said “Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened.”

R.I.P. Shag.

You were the sweetest cat on the face of the planet and I am sad to see you go.

Her and her brother are really close, as you can see from her licking him. It's funny because she acts like she wants him to lick her when she's done licking him and he doesn't reciprocate. Damn asshole.
