However there is one that even I have trouble getting past, body hair. Body hair is supposed to be there, yet society says that girls should shave their legs and armpits. I find the concept ridiculous yet I myself can't seem to get past it. I'm brainwashed and it's really bothersome to me. Why do humans, not just females, try so desperately to be something we're not? This is not right and I honestly think I will be leaving society very shortly. I need to live in harmony with the earth. I'm not giving back what I'm taking away, society as a whole is not. It's all wrong. I finally see that. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 50841224 No matter how unconventional one is by nature - or wants to become - there are certain COMMON SENSE standards that apply. Excessive hair on female legs and under the arms is not particularly hygienic, much less aesthetically appealing, not just to the opposite sex, but to one's own self. Being an individual and nonconformist and going against the stystem does not mean that you reject ALL social norms, but rather, it's about common sense, rational thinking, and doing what you know, intellectually, is the best thing. I knew I'd get a reply like this. Sadly you're wrong. Hair has many purposes and is meant to be in place. It shouldn't be considered unappealing or unhygienic because it is neither. Hair under the arms and on the pubs is an adult thing. So why does so-called fashion dictate that women should have underarms that resemble those of a pre-pubescent child? Lady's razors are a relatively new invention. Doubtful that before that invention women were plucking instead, or getting their underarms shaved in a barber shop with a straight razor. For a long time women did not even show their legs in public, it's doubtful that they shaved them either. |

Soooooo..you either let it get you down...or you choose to pull out the popcorn and patiently wsit for God to act... If you place your trust in man you will invariably be hurt Only in God must one place ones trust...and never ever stoop below a behaviour that honors God Its simply pointless to be hurt or to argue..many people are not of God..they behave accordingly..so why be upset? Wheat doesnt become chaff And chafff could never be wheat I agree with op in the sense that i too think society is putrid to the core Already dead..just not buried Best to focus on the kingdom of God and have little to nothing to do with those of the world..otherwise it does or can affect spiritual harmony and peace We all sin...but quite frankly sin is revolting..its hideous to witness the embarassing self love that is usually the root of it So i just watch and smile...and wait:-) |

There is so much injustice in the world of man..on every level.. It's all wrong. I finally see that. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 50841224 Good for you, if you are ok with that and let's hope you will find persons in your life that do not care whether you have hair in your armpit or not. However, ALL body hair as well as other aspects of your physical body are a matter of taste for ourselves as well as others in the society. We dye our hairs, wear certain clothes, jewelry, tattoos and other things to "express" ourselves. Many "native people" use body decoration and it feels silly to say they are "not in harmony with earth" for putting some feathers in their hairdo, making scar tattoos or painting their faces with blood, dirt, coal and what not. Whether someone has hair in their head/face/armpit/downstairs/anywhere can be as well a statements as it is "natural look", expression of personality or just a sign of "belonging" to some group. I understand your individuality and not needing societies norms, I am quite the same. Still.. I do shave my hair every now and then..sometimes bald..sometimes stripes..sometimes it is long.. just what feels nice during the year and seasons. Same goes with beard and other hairs. Sometimes my pubic hair is trimmed (never clean thou, that looks terrible to me..) and sometimes it grows for a year .. haven't been a problem so far. Even thou I am a man, I did shave my armpit hair often during summers when training a lot/doing sports.. nowadays they pretty much grow as they want and I might snip an inch away if they go out of control. I agree it does look "a bit weird" if I see some hot woman having armpit hairs or other of that sort, but it's just curiosity, wouldn't be a problem to date her if she was otherwise nice and interesting.. |

We already have the daily "I fucking hate gays/black/man/white/poor/rich/asian/jews/Obama/whatever"-thread quote filled, so it is time to talk about feminism, hate women and wait who finds the best awkward transition to blame it all on Obama and how ugly Michelle is - with his..err..her facial hair!!11111 |

Quoting: rezony 54099781 i don't see why anyone should shave. we developed hair because our ancestors had to hide in caves and for us not to freeze etc.since we don't live in caves anymore and make our clothes it is all a heritage. .Girls are also kinda sexy to men when they have a lot of hair on their hands ( to some men) Its all here for reason. But as we are getting further away from nature, the magazines, popular culture, fashion and other things that man made up are forcing a new image upon the world that most will open handedly accept and thus the tools that we created are also making a different man of the future. Biologically different. So i think there is nothing to be ashamed of. Girls are attractive nomatter if they have hair on their body or not. IT is just ancestoral heritage and something we shouldn't be ashamed of. Its all good, most stuff that we believe in and adore are only a fashion of the moment.
