The Devil is merely a metaphorical creation, nothing more, nothing less.

He does not exist per se, it is simply a creation, an idea, to help you guide you to a more righteous life. He is a symbolic formulation of what is considered to be bad or evil choices.

See it this way; if you live your life in a bad manner full of what we call 'sin' you will ultimately only end up hurting yourself and attract negative things into your life. Live in a good, righteous way then the opposite will happen and positive things are attracted to you and vice versa.

So more specifically; there is no lake of fire, not eternal damnation, unless you chose to create it yourself, which will more or less happen if you live a vile, bad & sinful life through a continued accumulation of negative karma.

On a further note, there are those on this earth that live sinfully, they use the power of the idea of the so called 'devil' to scare & manipulate you, or on the other hand us it to manipulate people to follow them on their path.

The true power lies within the 'idea' of the 'devil', hence the devil only has as much power as you chose to give him.

So just relax, live righteously and don't give in or believe in this idea of the devil, because if you do, you are giving the idea and thus, him, a form of manifestation.

No one is out to get you.

satan is a liar and he wants to destroy mankind because God threw him out of Heaven after the devil loss the war. Heaven is where it used to dwell. Now God created mankind and gave us the power to rule earth and then go to live with God in Heaven for eternity. The devil is jealous and wants revenge and wants to torment mankind to get back at God.

then you mock attack me and rip me off
and explain that I lost because I was outnumbered
so to avoid future losses I must have as many children
as possible and teach them to kill people
