They have paid brokers who sign people up. They get a commission.
So these brokers are trying to get people signed up no matter what the cost tot he insured will be.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54311206 they get commission on paid premium....they ain't getting paid Sadly, some people ARE signing up for ACA and paying premiums. Also small businesses. The broker commission is added into premiums so technically those paying for ACA are getting screwed twice.
