Most of our marine defense has been lost to immigration attacks, unmarked boats arriving along 83% of the shorelines armed with missiles, machine guns and other weapons of mass destruction. nuclear warheads didn't start arriving until around the 2040s, suddenly our country was in the Spotlight after wiping out several British command posts.
any marine soldiers that remained were banished to the outside borderlines of the continent, seen as enemy to the state for carrying the blue and white flag.

most of us that remain are living out our days in secret under ground societies, those who chose to comply with Order #665 were most likely killed, or chosen to do bigger things.
