Imagine the World in a different way.

Have you ever stopped, looked around you and thought to yourself "what makes me alive"?
After all, your physical body is made up of atoms that depending on your religious belief make them ( the atoms) either millions, billions or thousands of years old and when you die will continue to be in existance. So if creation is as old as the big bang or the biblical acount, that is how old my/your physical body is. That means the atoms which make up your body are probably older than the pyramids or the grand canyon (assuming they were not present at creation) yet you have only lived for X number of years.
We breath in O2 but breath out CO2.... so infact our respiration is all about removing ( what one must assume to be) toxic/un-energised/used up carbon from our body, it is an exhaust system. We replenish our carbon with food. Carbon acts as a battery, it powers us. It is recharged through photosynthesis. We are looking for cold fusion and yet nature allready has its own version.
Can you remember when you became alive/concoius? I have a few memories from when I was 2 years old ( I know this only because my parents said I was 2 when I lived in that house). Is that when I became alive/concious? and yet we all knowthat babies are alive - how far back does that life go? Does it go all the way back to a magical fusion between the sperm and the egg?
We can see/measure the effect/action of thought in the brain. Yet we cannot predict thought. We dont know what makes those neurons fire - they just do. We cant measure it physicaly before it happens. Do you know what you are going to think about next, or does it just happen?
