"no corroboration of the claims" "Quoted one man" (One man??), bloggers, etc..etc.
Does this TELL you anything?
He's dead. And tomorrow, he and Francisco Franco will STILL be dead. I don't care if he was exploded, stomped, or he choked on a Happy Meal toy...just so he is dead.

92220, in a way I agree with you. But the circumstances of the guy's death ARE important to establish (not that we here can do that) because they are contradicted by two witnesses, neither of whom had reason to lie. The inconsistency may be indicating that the guy was killed under different circumstances to those reported. In which case SOME of us would like to know the truth. But be happy with your trophy even if it is the head of the wrong man!

I haven't been shown that he is the wrong man.
Conspiracy theorists depend too heavily on other conspiracy theorists for their "truth".
Z is no "trophy" to me. He was a rabid dog that had to be stopped.
If the leaders of the insurgency in Iraq are stopped, then Iraq can start depending on itself to keep the peace...then our soldiers can come home. This ain't rocket science.

The dead man in the photograph was definitely not Zarqawi. We have already been through this on GLP. The dead man has completely different eyebrows and skin. Zarqawi has a pock-marked triangular face with arching eyebrows. The dead man has a Mr. Potato Head face, smooth skin, and short eyebrows.
You will soon learn that he was misidentified. Zarqawi, though probably dead, will be resurrected by the Bush cabal.

Re: Zarqawi "beaten to death" by US soldiers?
Whilst I agree with you about the bogus Zarqawi, even allowing for uncertainties generated by a face changing slightly after death, I don't think the Americans could ever admit they had been mistaken over their identification of him. This would be like admitting that Lee Harvey Ostwald was not the only killer of Kennedy. It ain't going to happen - it opens up a can of worms. They have put too much effort into the bogus identification for their later admission that they had made a mistake to be plausible. They have crossed the Rubicon with this, hoping that it will make people start supporting again the war in Iraq. It won't, as it won't stop the violence, and people will continue to believe it to be another Vietnam.

Who was Abu Musab al Zarqawi?
by Michel Chossudovsky

June 8, 2006
GlobalResearch.ca

Mythical figure and terror mastermind Abu Musab Al Zarqawi was killed in an air raid, according to a statement of the Iraqi government.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki announced at a press conference . "We have eliminated Zarqawi." The head of US-led forces in Iraq, General George Casey, said the strike against an "isolated safe house" took place at 1815 (1415 GMT) on Wednesday. (BBC, 7 June 2006)

"Jordanian-born Zarqawi was said to have been in a meeting with associates at the time. Several other people were reported to have been killed in the raid. General Casey said Zarqawi's body was identified through fingerprints, facial recognition and known scars." (Ibid)

Zarqawi has been upheld both in official statements and the media as head of "the Sunni insurgency", leader of "al-Qaeda in Iraq", allegedly responsible for the the killings of thousands of civilians.

Intelligence Asset

The evidence suggests, however, that Zarqawi was part of a Pentagon disinformation campaign launched in 2003, which was initially intended to justify the US led invasion of Iraq. This central role of Zarqawi as an instrument of war propaganda was recently confirmed by leaked military documents revealed by the Washington Post.

The Pentagon had set up a "Zarqawi program". Military documents confirm that the role of Zarqawi had been deliberately "magnified" with a view to galvanizing public support for the US-UK led "war on terrorism":

"The Zarqawi campaign is discussed in several of the internal military documents. "Villainize Zarqawi/leverage xenophobia response," one U.S. military briefing from 2004 stated. It listed three methods: "Media operations," "Special Ops (626)" (a reference to Task Force 626, an elite U.S. military unit assigned primarily to hunt in Iraq for senior officials in Hussein's government) and "PSYOP," the U.S. military term for propaganda work..." (WP. 10 April 2006)

An internal document produced by U.S. military headquarters in Iraq, states that "the Zarqawi PSYOP program is the most successful information campaign to date." (WP, op cit). (For further details see: Who is behind "Al Qaeda in Iraq"? Pentagon acknowledges fabricating a "Zarqawi Legend" - by Michel Chossudovsky - 2006-04-18)

Is Zarqawi's Death part of Pentagon PSYOP?

If indeed Zarqawi was fabricated to deliberately mislead public opinion, what are the implications of his death in the process of media disinformation? Is the killing of Zarqawi part of the Pentagon PSYOP program?

There are so many psychopaths on this forum. You are completely brainwashed to kill. Because of the number of killers this country produces, it will have to be decimated by the NWO. Probably nukes. There is no other way to contain this rabid population.

I am once again amazed at the number of maniacal would-be murderers in this forum. The Code of Military Conduct is clear: Captured, wounded prisoners get medical attention, not execution.

I am amazed at some of the shit these people will pull to make the war/our troops look bad. And further amazed at how many of you will believe it the INSTANT you read it. Looks like the left wing propaganda machine is running just as fast as the right wings.

Elmo: "one witness vs many"

No. One credible witness who has nothing to gain by lying (in fact a lot to lose) versus many 'witnesses' (if grunts can be so-called) under orders to uphold their superiors bogus story that the man died through injuries received from the bombs. I know whom I would prefer to believe, given the track record of the US military in cover-up and denial of their soldiers massacres in Iraq.

72878, you think the Iraqi witness could not tell the difference between a group of soldiers pummeling a man to death and applying medical aid. LOL! Get real.

Regardless of how many and who they are. The testimony of the lowliest witness is treated as seriously in court as that of the bigshot. (Doesn't always work out that way).

But then legal process in the military is not the same. The military is the judge and jury as well as the prosecutor or defence lawyer. When a general announces "rubbish" to any suggestion that events did not happen as he thinks or wants the world to think, do you imagine any lower officer is going to order an independent enquiry. Wait until hell freezes.
