Luis goes off topic too, so he won't mind. Facts are that America refused to recognise Morsi's ousting a coup! If they had have recognised it as such their law would have prevented them from providing any more military aid when the military junta took power. They did carry on funding the military.

If they supported MB, why break their own law to fund the very people who ousted Morsi?

The US did not want to see Mubarak go...they stalled as long as they could in pursuading him to leave. Mubarak and co got billions from the US partly as payment for the peace treaty with Israel. Having MB in power in Egypt didn't at all suit Israel. As for the funding, it should have ceased immediately.
