For at least 18 months before that earth-
quake there were heard scores of dull
booming noises, many accompanied by
shocks, near the town of Ninety-Six in
western South Carolina;(32). Re-
ports of these explosive sounds were
even published 3 months before the great
earthquake(33)

Science magazine went into multiple pieces of evidence stating how booms PRECEDED the earthquake, including published 3 month before the earthquake!!!
