Drug lord 'El Chapo' Guzman captured in Mexico
The head of Mexico's Sinaloa Cartel was captured overnight by U.S. and Mexican authorities at a hotel in Mazatlan, Mexico, the Associated Press has learned.

A senior U.S. law enforcement official said Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman was taken alive overnight in the beach resort town. The official was not authorized to discuss the arrest and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Guzman, 56, was found with an unidentified woman. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Marshals Service were "heavily involved" in the capture, the official said. No shots were fired.

Oh great. I hope he escapes like he did last time with bribery and blackmail. As if the Mexican drug war could get any worse. Gee I wonder what will happen when you remove the top dog from an international criminal organization? Could his second in command people retain control or will there be a nice long bloody power struggle?

Well, at least it's one kingpin out of commission. For the moment anyway.

One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one.

Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway.

this time he stays in.

that is Why they released Caro Quintero, Old drug lord, to take back his place.

"el Chapo" was out of control, he did a lot of damage going into war agains everybody, now they took him back to jail cause he failed to meet the agreement he commited when they released him.

now it starts all over again, new (but old) face joins the "MZ" on the top of the chain
