I do believe that comets interact electrically (and magnetically) with the sun as do planets.

The thing to know now is that comet Linear is coming astronomically close to Earth in May. I'm not suggesting anything other than that close passage.

I read an article that said that the chances of the WHOLE Caldera Bllowing were very slim. That there would probably be a limited Volcanic Eruption in Parts of the Complex.

For the Whole Caldera that is hundreds of miles across and can only be seen by Satelite to go up there would have to be many many many vents open up to cause the whole Caldera to emplode.

Look how many Volcano's have very limited activity for years before they have a full scale eruption.

If it does go active this could go on for tens of years.

Its not a Movie. Its Mother Nature.

The difference between the WHOLE caldera exploding and smaller numerous venting explosions is Yellowstone Lake.

If that lake water seeps into the magma chamber it would set off a series of events that would lead to the WHOLE enchilada going KA fckin BOOM.

The lake needs to be drained. Why risk it? The water is already very toxic for fish and man. The lake sits atop the caldera and is something like 20 miles long and 136 square miles in size.
