The plants that carry out the high-tech "desalination" process can cost hundreds of millions of dollars, but there may be few other choices for the parched state. It would be cool if they could make it solar powered ( not solar desalination on this scale though.) if 5000 10k gallon TANKERS [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] that could steam desalinate enroute were on road... this simple technology could deliver steam distilled water to clients |
