The military have to be awake, they all have someone to tell them of the corruption . No one has a friend that haven't been effected. They I am sure can't openly talk about it but I am sure they do and are preparing for SHTF.

I don't believe a military coup will happen in the US anytime soon. It isn't an arrogant or normalcy bias blindness that leads me to think that either. Any coup requires strong charismatic leadership. While suicides and depression from the lower level military types because of their own internal conflicts of what they know is right and what they are required to do, all those orders that put them under such stress come from much higher up.

Any potential pentagon level rejection of Obama's policies is being met with blackmail, reassignment, and retirement. With over 200 senior military officials getting the axe and being replaced by people who will cooperate, the list of leaders to lead a coup is dwindling fast.

Then there is the whole thing about the military being under civilian control here in the US. A coup is highly unlikely if not impossible at this point.

I think you are right about force, but it's a coup by the people that they want. A military coup would be a far different situation. The Swat teams and militarized police think they are bad asses with all their new Government gear, but if the Military ever decided to take back the country, these pot bellied wanna be's would be toast.

I have been saying for years that the revolution is just waiting for a charismatic leader. I think it could be military, but probably not. If the military takes the lead, it will be behind one of the recently fired generals. I haven't seen any of them that inspire me to follow them into revolution. Whoever it is, they are going to have to know and understand the Constitution, or patriots will stay home.
