The 9th circus court has done it again. This is exactly the kind of rilings we have come to expect from them! They have never even read the first amendment, let alone understand it!
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

Re: Court: School was within its rights to ban U.S. flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo
Why is Cinco de Mayo celebrated more in the U.S. than in México?

It seems to be more a question of marketing than anything else. With the large population of Mexican descent living in the U.S. it makes sense to celebrate Mexican culture, just as Saint Patrick's Day is a day to celebrate Irish culture, and also, for many, an excuse to party hard.

MONEY !!!

Yes, and I agree that this story is not about Mexicans, Cinco de Mayo, or the American Flag.

The real implications of the ruling are this. A clear precedent is being set:

[link to www.foxnews.com]
...

The three-judge panel unanimously decided the officials’ need to protect the safety of their students outweighed the students’ freedom of expression rights.

...

The court said these past problems gave school officials sufficient and justifiable reasons for their actions and that schools have wide latitude in curbing certain civil rights to ensure campus safety.

...

And I lol'd at the last sentence of the op article, a very telling summary of CNN's 'journalistic' standards.

[link to www.cnn.com]

...

CNN first learned of the court's ruling on Twitter.

We Mexicans celebrate September 16th, our Independence Day, not 5 de Mayo, which is a military victory over the French Army of Napoleon.

American gov´t sees military victories as glorious days, we don´t. We see our Independence Day as most important.

They need to plan nect year to do a mass civil disobedience. What are they going to do if everybody (except the offended) wears them.

Who would have ever thought you could be banned from displaying a flag anywhere in the US?

Hey neighbors,

WHEN ARE YOU GONNA TAKE YOUR COUNTRY BACK?

I´ll fucking disobey if they order me to stop wearing the Mexican flag colors on Independence Day on September 16th. Let them try it.

Re: Court: School was within its rights to ban U.S. flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo
IMO: The day they celebrate it in school, all the Americans should just stay home, have a sick day, and/or wear a T-Shirt with a German Flag, or the British Flag, and/or the Viking symbols, ha!

Ok, no American flag, they didn't say anything about other flags...and/or, insist that the illegals KEEP their flag at home as well. Turnabout is fair play.

Their flag means NOTHING here, really. They are celebrating their heritage on American soil, not Mexico soil, cool, but when the rest of immigrants celebrate their heritage, they don't have their mother country flags hanging out.

IF most Americans did, they'd have to have numerous flags...that's why 1) we're called Americans, and 2) we have an AMERICAN FLAG. It represents all races.

And the school district can't just come out and say, hey, you're in America, that flag represents EVERYONE here.

I'm sure the only reason the students came with the American flag on their T-shirts was because the illegals came with the Mexican flag, and the school LET THEM, they are just fighting back... and saying hey, this is America, not Mexico.

Ok, have German day, Italian Day, Irish Day, Chinese day, etc., and everyone gets to bring those flags in that day...again, turnabout is fair play.

Why are we as a society bending over backwards for one specific group? Just more BS to inflame the citizens.

They are trying really hard aren't they?

What is the name of the school? Does anyone have the contact info offhand? It needs to published immediately, as do the names and contact info for the court and judges.

Re: Court: School was within its rights to ban U.S. flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo
(CNN) -- A California school that stopped students from wearing American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo didn't violate their constitutional rights, an appeals court ruled Thursday.

The school's approach, according to the appeals court, kept students safe in a climate of racial tension.

"The controversy and tension remained," a panel of judges from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals said in their opinion, "but the school's actions presciently avoided an altercation."

School officials were worried about violence and disruption of school activities "and their response was tailored to the circumstance," the opinion said.

The case dates back to May 5, 2010, when the principal of Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California, asked a group of students wearing American flag T-shirts to turn their shirts inside out or take them off.

Everyone has rights in the US unless you are white and Christian.

Now we have a black president who essentially announced that he is only the president for black people. We have a muslim president who protects muslim religious rights while destroying Christians' religious rights, and we have leftist president who is confiscating all power to himself.

There is no opposition to him as he continues to marginalize white people and force his anti-white agenda on all of us...

Also - American taxpaying citizens - whether you have kids in this school or others or no kids at all - it is your DUTY to protest this. It is also common knowledge of the illegals in the schools what their names are and where they live. Report them as illegals. Do not employ them.

I can NOT imagine a white president getting away with this. All this is, is an obvious attempt to buy black kids loyalty to later be used against anyone who is tired of democrap anti-white racism.
