TOMMORROW WHEN THE WAR BEGINS

When it begins you pretty much be sure it is not going to stop with the Ukraine. The people of Ukraine need to leave now. This is their warning. Is it our warning too.
You will have to choose. Run or fight.
Those who will choose to fight, I will thank them now for being so brave. Thankyou and keep safe.
For everyone else you need to find a safe place which you can defend and has a supply of clean water and food.
You need to know how you will get yourself and your family to your safe place if the roads are blocked. How will you travel with young children. Do you have to leave Granny behind because she is too old and fucked and would have to be carried. It is all good to have a bug out bag, but where are you bugging to. How will you survive when you get there.
TIPS.
Your bugout bag should contain a dynamo charge torch.
Flint fire lighter and waterproof container of very dry tinder. A good strong knife, not those skinny small things the kids play with. Proper knife for butchering game and stuff. Dried foods enough to last your journey.
First aide kit. Pain killer panadol and stronger if you have it. Bandages etc. Water container.
Remember you will have to carry what you take.

Plan you escape, get maps and look for places that might be ok. Near a river, caves or heavily forested Take into account how long it would take if it were the worst scenario. Walking and carrying children. Pick a route where you know you can get fresh water. Follow a river if possible. Remember they flow towards the sea.
Talk to friends and neighbours, groups are better able to protect themselves and gather food etc. Choose wisely!
