For years during the bush dynasty all I heard about was how hot the Earth was getting and how by the time 2020 rolled around icebergs would be completely gone.

It was the one talking point they drilled into our heads, "The world keeps getting hotter!"
"CO2 is trapping heat!"
"The arctics will melt!"
"Seas will rise and cities will sink into the ocean!"

Now it's 2014 and within two months it has snowed four times in my area when the most I could ever remember seeing was once or twice every other year. Of the times I caught myself watching the news lately it has been nothing but ice storms.

Amazing how the moment all this cold shit comes along we have the terminology go from global warming to climate change. Scientists may be knowledgeable and more understanding of the world, but I know for a damn fact that scientists will nod their heads off their shoulders for grant money or any kind of income to keep food on the table.

I'm all for more efficient vehicles and technology, that is the desired path of a technological society. The larger we grow the less we need to consume in order to keep balance between resources and consumption.

But don't expect me to pander to some cultist bullshit like "global cooling, "global warming" or "Climate change". From day one that this shit was being hailed as the greatest issue of the 21st century the plan for a carbon tax was chained right with it. It smelled like a scam back then and it still does now, no matter how many fucking science degrees you put behind it.

These climate change people never put forth a solution, they just keep demanding money.

Climate change is real, the secret is nobody knows all the details or is ready to admit the cause. Our atmosphere has been collapsing for awhile, which is a result of the sun's cycles. This is the true reason for most of the climate oddness as of the past ~20 years. We have less insulating us from space, so when it's hot, it's extremely hot, and when it's cold, it's extremely cold. Yet the climatologist try to convince you it's a green house effect, when it's practically the opposite.

There's nothing that can be done to change this or stop it from happening short of mass geo-engineering that would probably end up killing us all.

You live on a planet. Its big and vast and winter happens in the northern Hemisphere as summer happens in the southern Hemisphere. Now its been a record cold winter in the Eastern third of the country out on the west coast there have been many record warm days so you cant just up and say no more global warming without taking a look at the entire globe. Do you even realize that Brazil is having a very hot and dry summer. Probably not but that is the reality of the globe.
