YEP, it sure happened. Reinhard Gehlen helped to set up our CIA. Most of those SS officers went back to Germany to do what they were doing before. Lots of them that went to prison were let out way early. Lots of high level brainy types were put into high positions in corpoations and in government.
There are some people tho, who will go into hysterical denial over this.
They will tell you that they don't trust the government, and yet they will believe EVERYTHING the government tells them. Like the stories of Pearl Harbor and 911 or instance.
