They're talking about lithium batteries being carried in the cargo compartment,not what kind a battery a plane has.

Honestly you have NO IDEA what was in that cargo hold.

It could have been the gold or jewel heist of the century.
Passengers and crew were expendable or are locked up in some Iranian prison.

Anything is possible until the plane or parts of it are located.
