Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Some artillery guns fired white phosphorous rounds that create a screen of fire that cannot be extinguished with water. Insurgents reported being attacked with a substance that melted their skin, a reaction consistent with white phosphorous burns. Kamal Hadeethi, a physician at a regional hospital, said, "The corpses of the mujaheddin which we received were burned, and some corpses were melted." -Washington Post |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In fact I would have been sceptical if this had been reported otherwise. The U.S. wants to "send a message" to the Iraqi citizens. The U.S. military does not consider itself bound by international law. Does anyone here know that the U.S. has the largest supply of chemical weapons in the world all in one location in Indiana? It isn´t even kept a secret. Why do you think we´ve held on to it and not destroyed it? Why do you think we still create more of it? It is wasted if it is not used. So used, it is. Have a nice day. |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Give me a break. This isn´t even worth sharing. Islamonline reported it? SO WHAT! When the big guns report it, with video to back it up, I´ll buy it. Believe me, people. The US news agencies would LOVE to get their hands on that kind of stuff. I worked in TV news for 15 years and they would all be having orgasms right now if this was true and they thought they even had the SLIGHTEST chance of being the first to report it and become the "saviors" of the average American. |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | AC 1:50, white phosphorous is used in illumination rounds. These rounds are not intended to kill people, but if they do, so much the better. (By the way, the human body cannot be "melted", by white phosphorous or anything else.) You´re welcome. Always happy to enlighten the ignorant. (At least I try to, although I have to admit that on GLP I have some difficult cases.) |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 1:57, "big guns". How appropriate your word choice is. The fit for american consumption news is used as a weapon. Thank you for that image. 1:58, try sticking your hand in a torch flame and tell us if it doesn´t appear to "melt". Of course american troops are using gas. They have it and it leaves no evidence after enough time has passed. There are millions (not a typo) of tons of it stored just in the Indiana facility alone. They´ve got to use it on someone, and they wouldn´t dare use it on the American populace. Right? |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 2:17, no amount of pissing from you will change the facts that I´ve posted here. They are verifiable. Phosphorous burns so hot that it will vaporize steel. Of course it will make a body appear to have been melted. The flesh becomes vaporized just like everything else. The U.S. military has used and will continue to use incendiary exposives and rounds to terrorize their enemies. The U.S. has the worlds largest store of many types of chemical weapons. Non of these facts are refutable. You can attack me all you want but the information I´ve shared is above refute. Anyone can research this information and come to their own conclusions. You can listen to empty denial by an anonymous poster or you can check for yourelf. You can bet that this post is one of the reasons that this site is being attacked so hard. |

SOMEGUY 12/08/2005 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That being said the USA military has no need for an Illumination round due to the amount of night vision gogles each soldier has and FLIR in the aircraft. The Iraqis would be correct then in assuming they were being attacked with Chemical weapons. Did you know that CS gas was banned not because it was deadly but because the use of ANY gas may be preceived to be a Lethal Gas Attack therefore Escalating a WMD response. Is our Military hoping for a WMD response????? |

BONES 12/08/2005 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Howdy! Has Southern Grace been here? No, ok then just checking. Oh I might as well comment.... Lies, lies, all lies. We have a strict policy in the Army, it says we will not use chemical weapons unless they are first used on us. That´s why we have the stock pile and that´s why we keep making them. That parts true. Chem and bio weapons are difficult to deploy and keep stable. Chem weapons are considered "area denial weapons", and if we have to fight in the same area it doesn´t make sense to use them there, it´s too difficult to fight and I think at this point we are trying to kill them all. My next point is, we still expect them, as they become more desperate, to use what they have on us. If we bring chem/bio weapons into the battle it would be difficult to prove it was not us. My next point is that if you see gas clouds it is either smoke screening weapons or it is CS gas, or riot gas for lack of a better discription. Ok enough said. |
