Sorry about your daughter, .....please do this quickly, get all records, surgical notes, most important.....labs....any tests they have done prior and afterwards...make sure to get copies of anything she has done on a daily basis.....start a file..... Dr notes, labs, and surgical notes can disappear fast and from the sounds of it they could......if dr quit the next day , it might imply he knew of his mistakes or the nurses may of went to the board.....for whatever reason sounds like he didn't do his job and now your daughter will suffer greatly.....

Yes what your referring to is a power of attorney. It will be necessary for anyone other than the patient to get access to those medical records. I would save going to law enforcement until after I contacted an attorney. You will have to file paperwork and to get them to track this guy is going to take a little bit of pressure from what I've seen. You need to be quick about it because I've seen these SOB's up and disappear or go back to there home country and become pretty much untouchable at that point.
