The Gay Freaks of Satan's are imposing themselves in every aspect of our life. Everybody with a conscious should therefore, ban themselves from drinking one Guinness beer or anything else that they are associated with.
 Quoting: moses787

Everybody with a "conscious"??? def: aware of and responding to one's surroundings; awake. LOL

Thank God for Guinness, Sam Adams, Heineken and Honey Maid! Thank you for understanding that this is a changing world and our culture needs to change with it. Diversity is a beautiful thing!

War is on the doorstep and the Taliban stole a plane, yet here some of you are worried about gay people in a corporate parade. Talk about some serious repressed issues, lol...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55108430

Yeah, and don't forget that the Taliban would kill you and your type for being "gay".
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54632695

No shit. And we can agree that the Taliban is archaic and well, needs to be wiped out, no?

Luckily for teh gayz, they want to kill all capitalists first.

I don't get why this is hard for people to understand. It's a business thing. This is good for business, they can sell to more people, gays and people who accept gays.

Go make a beer called Aryan Ale or Skinhead Stout and see how well it does. :P

You don't have to like gays but if you run a business its a good idea to say you do. It's like changing to "green" packaging or saying your product is organic.
 Quoting: Fishticon

So you're saying there are more homos and homo sympathizers than there are normal people in America?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54632695

Yes, the majority of people accept gays. Go on any social network and start talking about how much you hate fags, see how quickly you get shit on.
You may not like it but social networks is where all the "normal people" are and this is the way the world is now.
 Quoting: Fishticon

No they are hardly "normal" if they accept sodomites. Maybe your metrosexual feminized buddies accept gays but most people on this planet do not.

Re: Guinness Drops of NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade Because of Gay Issue
It's absolutely ridiculous for a parade in the modern world to give a damn about sexual orientation.

This is the 21st century. Give me a break. Good for Guinness (or whoever shook them down). If they were shaken down, that wouldn't be my favorite way to encourage people to go about things, but it's a hell of a lot better than giving in to the absurd parade regulations.

Get out of the dark ages, people. If you don't like gay issues, just look at the other floats. It's a free country.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55736539

Typical liberal/progressive response. The 'absurd regulations' you refer to are in place to protect the integrity of the parade. It's not about fudge packing degenerates showing off their perversion, It's a celebration of Saint Patrick & the Holy, God-fearing man that he was. The abomination of homos has no place in a parade honoring a Saint!
bash
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55733735

Better ban Protestants, then.

And is everyone in the parade a Christian?

You shouldn't march if you're not a Christian--that would be blaspheming St. Patrick.

Be sure to honor him by drinking alcohol, which features heavily in the parade.

And the girls in the skimpy suits twirling batons?

St. Patrick says "No." Especially the ones who have had sex but are not married.

Get this parade back to what is should be: a Catholic-only march, alcohol banned for the day, and modest clothing for all participants.

You dear, don't really understand grace. I'm sorry, but you don't. The flesh is sinful. If we think we do not sin we fool ourselves. All sins are equal. Another persons battle with drunkenness is something that they cannot help. Yet, if they ask forgiveness then they will be forgiven. Same thing for obesity, lying, gossiping, adultery, fornication, what ever. All sins are equal and we all sin. Our flesh is, always has been, and always will be corrupt. The change is in the spirit. Jesus saves us because we cannot be holy. If that would have worked, we would still be sacrificing animals on the altar and living by God's laws that are covered in the Old Testament. But when Jesus came all of that was put away. He was holy, he was righteous, he took on all of our sins, past present and future. There is NOTHING that can separate us from his love. Nothing! We are to do our best to walk with him, love others as ourselves, and seek his forgiveness for our sins. He paid it all.

If we are to demand that those participating in the parade observe Catholic or at least Christian beliefs and ideals, then we can't just randomly pick the gay issue to enforce.

Unmarried people living in sin may not march.
Those who do not keep the Sabbath may not march.
Those who have had an abortion may not march.
Those who have had children out of wedlock may not march.
Those--women especially--not wearing conservative clothing covering most of their body may not march.
As it is a Catholic march in honor of a Catholic saint, the women should really be wearing head coverings.
Those who regularly consume pork, shellfish, and other unclean meats may not march.

And so on.

I believe gay people are welcome to participate in any parade, just not to self-identify with sin, which is basically not appropriate on SAINT Patrick's holiday.

So is Guinness dying their product pink for the holiday?

Be sure to honor him by drinking alcohol, which features heavily in the parade.

And the girls in the skimpy suits twirling batons?

St. Patrick says "No." Especially the ones who have had sex but are not married.

Get this parade back to what is should be: a Catholic-only march, alcohol banned for the day, and modest clothing for all participants.

As long as the non-Catholic is marching with respect and celebration in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day then they are welcomed, but most know that gays are there to flaunt their sexuality and MOCK Christianity and Christians in a way you will NEVER see these homosexuals attack islam.

Most gays are gay first and it is their only identity which seems to instill self-worth. It's sad for them...

And so on.

Nope, you are missing the point. The others who you cite are not demanding recognition or the right to flaunt their sins during the parade. I mean we do not see a banner with "Prossies for St. Paddy" do we? No and I doubt it would be permitted. I would object to that also...why must everything be about sex to you damn gays? Are you so bereft of any other qualities?

As for the rest of your post it is crap.

As far as I know many gays may have and my be marching in the parade as all are welcomed

Re: Guinness Drops of NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade Because of Gay Issue
I believe gay people are welcome to participate in any parade, just not to self-identify with sin, which is basically not appropriate on SAINT Patrick's holiday.

So is Guinness dying their product pink for the holiday?

Pink is so last year. This year we prefer lavender. rofl5

Better ban Protestants, then.

And is everyone in the parade a Christian?

You shouldn't march if you're not a Christian--that would be blaspheming St. Patrick.

Be sure to honor him by drinking alcohol, which features heavily in the parade.

I'm not gay.

You're insisting that one tenet of Christianity be respected by the parade, whereas others may be ignored completely. This doesn't make sense.

If it's a Christian parade, it (and its participants) must observe Christian principles, period. God doesn't care whether your anti-Christian principle is displayed on a banner or not.
