Typical liberal/progressive response. The 'absurd regulations' you refer to are in place to protect the integrity of the parade. It's not about fudge packing degenerates showing off their perversion, It's a celebration of Saint Patrick & the Holy, God-fearing man that he was. The abomination of homos has no place in a parade honoring a Saint!

Better ban Protestants, then.

And is everyone in the parade a Christian?

You shouldn't march if you're not a Christian--that would be blaspheming St. Patrick.

Be sure to honor him by drinking alcohol, which features heavily in the parade.

And the girls in the skimpy suits twirling batons?

St. Patrick says "No." Especially the ones who have had sex but are not married.

Get this parade back to what is should be: a Catholic-only march, alcohol banned for the day, and modest clothing for all participants.

As long as the non-Catholic is marching with respect and celebration in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day then they are welcomed, but most know that gays are there to flaunt their sexuality and MOCK Christianity and Christians in a way you will NEVER see these homosexuals attack islam.

Most gays are gay first and it is their only identity which seems to instill self-worth. It's sad for them...

If we are to demand that those participating in the parade observe Catholic or at least Christian beliefs and ideals, then we can't just randomly pick the gay issue to enforce.

Unmarried people living in sin may not march.
Those who do not keep the Sabbath may not march.
Those who have had an abortion may not march.
Those who have had children out of wedlock may not march.
Those--women especially--not wearing conservative clothing covering most of their body may not march.
As it is a Catholic march in honor of a Catholic saint, the women should really be wearing head coverings.
Those who regularly consume pork, shellfish, and other unclean meats may not march.

And so on.

Nope, you are missing the point. The others who you cite are not demanding recognition or the right to flaunt their sins during the parade. I mean we do not see a banner with "Prossies for St. Paddy" do we? No and I doubt it would be permitted. I would object to that also...why must everything be about sex to you damn gays? Are you so bereft of any other qualities?

As for the rest of your post it is crap.

As far as I know many gays may have and my be marching in the parade as all are welcomed
