two....it appears to be around 5/6mg in size (if its an eq)

this in my opinon is a very large harmonic tremour.
no other stations recorded an event, suggesting its not tectonic

The Chilean quake showed up, as most large quakes do all over the world. However, it most likely registered as a small quake in that area. The data was discarded once it was associated with Chili.

As of now, there is not a current quake above 2 mag. reported in Yellowstone.

Gasman, I told him this on the other thread he posted...It was just the shock wave of the Chile quake....

Shadow, The experts do know there stuff and they certainly wouldn't spend money maintaining these seismographs and letting the world see them if they wanted to hide anything going on at Yellowstone...

Yellowstone national park is a busy place, from animals, humans and traffic, all these affect seismographs in certain ways...You can also get rockfalls, bad weather, Big quakes in World and tree root rocking (Root in ground causing vibrations) that all affect the seismographs....

I also believe that there has been some fracking going on near there and that possibly could show up too...

Before posting threads on this site that kids frequent too, please make sure you check the weather, earthquakes sites and the Yellowstone Observatory website for any indication of an event or eq as posting threads like this can cause concern to people, especially to those who live nearby....

It's easy looking at the seismographs and seeing a squiggle or two that might appear abnormal, but sometimes you gotta think twice and look at other possible reasons as to what could be causing them before jumping the gun....

Also, that is NOT an Earthquake or anything remotely like that....

A Earthquake will show on there as a Sudden Jump (Up & down motion), not like what you seeing....

Now, looking at all them pictures, that event at Madison River is either a Rockfall or the Shockwave of a biggish EQ today....
