Leader of the Anti-Soldier Westboro Baptist Church Dead

( Topeka, Kansas ) The leader of the Westboro Baptist Church has died at the age of 84. The fiery founder of the small church who drew international condemnation for outrageous and hate-filled protests that blamed almost everything, including deaths of U.S. soldiers, on Americans defending a irreversibly corrupt government.

Ironically, Phelps’s family is asking that individuals do not picket his funeral. Hopefully Phelps’ passing will also me the death of his movement and his church’s poor representation of Christianity and God himself
