'92 Nissan Sentra. Got great gas mileage on the 4.5 hour trips home from college.

Had it for seven years and sold it for $450 with 273k miles under her belt and still running.

Another Japanese Chevy Cavalier. Gas and Go. Still see the old school rounded ones every so often.

1987 Camry. It looked nice, but had wiring problems that I never could get worked out as a teen. It came from a police auction.

Re: The first car/truck you ever owned?
One of the biggest POS ever made by GM.

The 1984 Chevrolet Camaro with the awesomely horrible 2.8 litre V6 and automatic transmission.

That POS left me stranded almost every other day in high school.

And of course it had the trademark dent in the rear quarter panel all Camaros and Firebirds had in the 80s.

Ill see that fucking car in hell!!!

That would be the RS model. Now the newer Mustangs with the newer V6 in them have about just as much power as the V8 do. But no way would I ever own a v6 Mustang.

Also had the tiny 305 in it if I am not mistaken?
 Quoting: iBYTE on 2

There was nothing Rally Sport about those cars lol.
And I wish it had the 305 v8....it had the 2.8 v6.

I would never wish that car on my worst enemy.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1259453

LOL! nuff said.

Yeah. I was young, and should have spent more time on working out the bugs.

1987 Dodge Colt I got it when I was 16 late in my sophmore year in HS and drove it until graduation. Never had a problem with it but it did burn a quart of oil every 50 miles. Oh I did have to change the spark plugs every 6 months because they would get oil inside them and car would misfire!!!!

Re: The first car/truck you ever owned?
My very first car was a 1990 Pontiac Grand Am...I was 15, just had gotten my learners permit..this was in 2000.

Then in 2002 I got a 1997 Chevy Cavalier....and haven't owned anything but a Chevy since ;) I had that Cavalier for years. Then after 2 kids got a Blazer...when my 3rd was born in 2011 I got a Trailblazer...and now this year, just about a month ago I got a Tahoe. Yes, its a big vehicle, and yes uses a lot of gas, but we don't travel very far (work is close for both me and hubby), so it works. Plus, with 3 kids I need that extra room.

Did it have the 2.0 Turbo?

Went to high school with a dude that had that rare engine Grand Am. Me and a chick had j-cars with that engine. The turbo j cars were faster than the Firebird with a 305 back then.

How true, the car had mechanical brakes, four cylinders, a spark retarder, front fender wheel wells and the capability to crank start if the battery failed.

'59 Nash Rambler station wagon. Flat head in line six cylinder three speed stick. Blew out the rear end doing fish hook burnouts - on gravel.

Smelled kind of funny inside too - you know, just, funny.
