Whats the point of divination/clairvoyance?

You have to remember that in essence you already exist in those future events....

True clairvoyance/divination at a higher-self level (towards the divine) provides clarity on future events....

Psychic divination based on the abilities which are available within the incarnate-self... is often quite cloudy and rarely fully accurate. (since it is focused purely on where the incarnate self is now)....

So to answer your question... the point is - know thy self :)

That makes sense...it is a bit cloudy for me, at least too general, but the events always come to pass. The incarnation as a reference point would explain the presence of certain key numbers around these events and timeline.

I agree almost completely with this.
Extremely frustrating when you see something clearly and cant share it.
Then, realizing that even if you could, you are powerless to change the outcome.

There are ways to make changes...but it opens a whole set of issues which usually result in some negative outcome. 'Breaking the seal' voids the warranty, and all sorts of eddies of chaos and imbalance can happen when you tinker under the hood. Many do it, but its not something I would do except in dire circumstances of last resort.

I know it is hard. And often seems rather pointless. But it can alter form a bit and become utilized in a different way.

It would seem that we are so regularly pulling the past &/or the future into the present moment therefore perpetuating/creating time wherein also perpetuating/creating separation/disconnect from Source.

It's a complete delusion IMO. There is no then or when. It's all right here and now. We can have the experience of other than, but that too shalt inevitably pass.

The future isn't always set in stone. If you know about something coming that would impact you negatively, you can sometimes take steps to avoid it. I once clearly saw and warned someone their spouse was planning for them to have an "accident" on vacation. If it had been me, I sure would have wanted to know!

Divination isn't always about the future. Sometimes it reveals things in the present and past that are hidden from the person and/or causing them anguish. A good reader provides perspective that is beneficial and healing.
