man accused of having Bart Simpson porn

A man has appeared in court accused of possessing pornographic cartoons, including one showing Bart Simpson having sex with his mother.

Andrew Smith, 55, pleaded not guilty at Carlisle Crown Court to nine charges alleging that he was in possession of prohibited images of children.

The court heard that the images involved were “cartoons and sketches” that Smith, of Killington Drive, Kendal, had allegedly downloaded onto his computer from the internet.

One charge alleged that he had a picture of “a child, Bart Simpson, having sexual intercourse with an adult, Marge Simpson.”
