If you call others judgmental and you are judgmental, it makes you hypocritical. No two ways about it. That's my point.

Plus.... you said it yourself: "treat others as you want to be treated." What Jesus said also. So there is no multiple interpretation of God's laws.

So why don't you tell the hypocritical poster that he shouldn't call others 'assholes'

I don't care about the hypocrisy. I'm more interested in your defense of your own action against your belief. Did I ever say I have a problem with being a hypocrite? Honestly, normally I am not, but if it's to point out the wrong of someone else where it is deserved, so be it.

The bible states that the believer is to judge what others do, so as not to do it yourself. The bible does not speak against judging actions and thoughts of others, it speaks against judging their soul to damnation, for only God can do that. How are you to know if someone is a liar unless you judge their actions.
But of course nonbelievers will not understand this simple ideology.

Better a "fool" than a delusional asshat whose "faith" dictates their life above all common sense and reality.

Nah, he nailed what most of you even-worse hypocrites use as a thorn in the side of believers. Unfortunately many professing Christians allow themselves to be trampled on by you wanna-be-moralists, when in reality WE have the moral high ground and should be tromping you cowards into the ground.

why should i repent? If your god is truly so petty that he would send someone he claims to love infinitely to burn in hell FOREVER just for not believing in him then i would not wish to worship him anyway. he is petty and wrathful and deserves no respect much less worship.

If god wants me to believe in him then he needs to show me some concrete scientific evidence of his existence, i'm one of those people who needs concrete proof and i have yet to see that. but i'm not one of those people who says that i know with 100% certainty that there is no god. I'm open to the possibility of a higher power, but we just haven't found evidence of one yet.

Actually, If you are a believer, you can do whatever you want, and get off scot free just by asking some made up fairy for forgiveness...

We Atheists don't have that option, So we have to be good...
