Anyone play Arma III?

Just buy it through Steam, Ive been using it for years.

If i had a PC then I would be playing it!

That's what im thinking of doing.... But i saw these buy a cd key things, that looked much cheaper.. So now im wondering if steam will rip me off.

Im also wondering how easy is it to work with mods.

It appears that the game needs mods in order to be upto standard. TMR mod? Graphics mods... And do these mods affect multiplayer??

Lots of mods for arma 3. Most have easy steam workshop pages that you subscribe to and steam downloads and installs them for you. There's also a great launcher out there that will give you a list of available mods and you can choose what to install. You won't need graphic mods. As someone else mentioned, Breaking Point is great. Exile is fun too.

You should load up "single player" and give it a good run first. Learn the controls. Learn stances. Learn recoil for guns. Learn to fly and drive. Do these things before you rush to multiplayer or the mod you're looking at. You'll have a better time :)

You will need a really decent CPU. GPU takes a backseat when it comes to the engine(course you'll still want a good GPU,my 760 gtx 2gb does fine). Happy hunting!

The mods are really easy to install, the updater does it all for you.

The best place to get it is probably steam on a sale.

Sometimes those CD key selling websites are a hassle. Meaning they will give you bad CD keys.

I liked breaking point but the zombies were kind of annoying.

So now I play Exile on servers with roaming AI.

It gives you random encounters with NPC players instead of zombies.

Im play and I was buy it on steam.
