I'm afraid you might be correct, but not sure the next one will be in Chile...

Worldwide the list is much longer. However it does seem that Chile has maybe given us a strong warning that should not be ignored. We know it has the capability of very large quakes the largest ever recorded in 1960. Caucasian subduction zone is Washington/Oregon/BC &, if, IF it lets go in as spectacular fashion as some have predicted, it could, as they have found to be the case in the archeological record, cause a LOT more havoc. It can cause a cascading effect on the San Andreas & smaller fault lines, not to mention the volcanoes, active or otherwise, along the West Coast, possibly even effecting Yellowstone & the New Madrid, seeing as its been yawning & stretching for some time now.
