Skydiver Almost Hit by Meteor

How often do airplanes get struck by space rocks? I've never heard of it but the odds are there...

It was a cobblestone he stuck in his chute when he packed it... Meh.

I have a hard time believing that a meteor would be a cold hard rock traveling at a relatively slow speed...

But then... I am not an expert and perhaps this is the real deal.
